Condemn the arrest of Saeed Torabian of Bus Drivers Syndicate of Tehran!
According to the report by the Vahed Syndicate, this morning at 9:00 o’clock Mr. Saeed Torabian, board member of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburb Vahed Bus Company was arrested at his home by security forces and taken into an undisclosed location . Security forces have also confiscated his personal belongings and computer. Up to now his family and colleagues have been unable to locate him. Presently three members of Bus Drivers Syndicate Board of Directors, Mansoor Osanloo, Ebrahim Madadi, and Saeed Torabian have been incarcerated.
IASWI condemns the all out attack of security forces upon activists of Vahed Syndicate and calls upon all labour activists and liberated people to join the campaign to free imprisoned transport workers and other labour activists currently incarcerated in jails of Islamic Republic.
